Strathmore:
Strathmore is located 40 km’s east of Calgary on the TransCanada Highway. It can be reached from Highway 9, 21 and 24. To arrive at Strathmore from Air you will need to fly to Calgary International Airport and rent a vehicle to get to Strathmore. The ball diamonds are located off of Wheatland Trail in the northwest area of Strathmore. The diamonds are located close the agricultural society and the Strathmore Civic Centre where the banquet will be hosted. Also within walking distance of the ball diamonds is the swimming pool and skating rink (which is scheduled to be open during our Westerns). As well an 18 hole golf course is within 5 minutes of the diamonds. The Strathmore Hospital is located in approx 6 blocks from the diamonds.
